Day by day

Follow the road
as it happens.

Scrub through the journey and the map keeps pace. The hobbits leave the Shire, the Fellowship crosses the mountains, and at Amon Hen the road splits in three.

The last road runs east into Mordor, past the Dark Tower and up the slopes of Orodruin. Stand beneath the Eye, then climb to the summit and look down into the fire.
